Some thumbnail sketches along with 3 startup concept ideas that came to mind within the first week of this project. At first I wanted the shape to be rounded and have 2 layers. Though as I kept doing product research on similar products to mine I came up with a mood board for a new design language.
Within this mood board I was inspired by a dark theme of what a gamers room would look like. As when I think of a gaming setup, I think of young adults that are students. This was perfect to me as this was the given demographic I wanted my user to be.

The name I gave to the bed desk was the "Geometric Bed Desk", as I purposefully made the the design language geometric/angular. This was a posted I made to show the different features that are implicated onto the bed desk.
