Final portrait of Ariana grande the pop artist

Process images drawing ariana grande
During the covid pandemic in 2020 i spent most of my time getting back into drawing. before then, i never thought i was capable of creating portraits of real people because it seemed too difficult. Though i took the time to sit down and work on every detail and i soon realized i'm more talented than i gave myself credit for.

Final Portrait of The Rapper Drake

Process Image when Drawing This Portrait
After creating my first portrait I was excited to try and create new portraits which lead me to drawing drake. drake is a canadian rap artist of someone I grew up listening to and still currently do. this portrait gave me many troubles almost making me want to give up. I ended up taking a week break, then started again. with the original reference image i used he was wearing a plain black sweater. though I thought it would look nicer if I drew his own ovo hoodie on him within the portrait. with this end result I came to love this portrait the most out of all the portraits I have created mainly because of the journey.

Final portrait of my dad

Process images of creating the portrait of my dad
After drawing the portrait of drake, I wanted to draw a portrait of someone that means the world to me, which is my dad. when I decided to draw my dad it was actually perfect timing because his birthday was coming up and I wanted to surprise him. from this portrait I learned a lot of new skills such as; perspectives, lighting/shadowing, etc. he ended up loving it and that feeling reminded me of why I want to continue with creating art and designs.
